No More Telstra in the Philippines Since March

It seems that every Pinoy’s dream of having a faster internet connection will be crushed as Telstra and San Miguel decided to abandon talks on wireless joint venture in the country.

Telstra, Australia’s biggest phone and internet provider, announced in August that it was planning to invest in the Philippines, one of the lowest mobile network speeds in the world. However, Telstra and San Miguel were unable to reach agreements on a possible equity investment in the venture.
